CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATE IN CHARGE RS6066XES (Ref: RS5066XES)
Location: Los Angeles
Rate: $ 120 to $ 150 K (permanent)

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, or relevant discipline. Five years project and staff management. Strong business development experience. Thorough knowledge of the Southern California market (contacts in the transportation arena) and an excellent transportation industry reputation. Significant experience with public presentations, participation in formal meetings, and direct involvement with clients and prospective clients is required. Must have excellent people skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and organizational skills. CA PE license, PTOE registration, or AICP certification is required. Project Management certification (PMI-PMP) is desirable.

Job Description

California Associate in Charge opportunity for Los Angeles office. This position will support operations in California and have responsibility for day-to-day office management, including oversight and mentoring of professional and support staff; oversight of all project work; financial and business operations; recruiting; and leadership in business development activities. The position will offer opportunities for the management of major project efforts in the following areas; transportation planning studies; parking; rail and transit projects; and traffic studies in southern California and elsewhere.
